switching the other way around.
We are planning to come to London and fly back from Paris.
Will Paris require more time than London?

I%26#39;ve not been to London but I spent 14 days in Paris and it was wonderful. There is so much to see and do and experience. Its is AMAZING. People go back again and again, I will be one of them. Of course you can take a couple of tours in a couple of days but to really experience Paris I%26#39;d say a minimum of 14 days. Given that you want to do both, I%26#39;d personally choose 7days Paris, 4 days London. But what do I know? I haven%26#39;t been to London....I just know I can go back to Paris again and again and that I just loved it.

Hi,
I´ve been to both places myself, though didn´t have much time to get to know London, as I was there on a 4 day business trip (3 days business, 1 day to look around). On the other hand, I have been to Paris twice (6 and 5 days respectively...wish I had satayed longer, as I didn´t get to see all I wanted, but pretty much, can´t complain), but I´d suggest 7 days in Paris, no question about it.
Enjoy your trip :)

Just to add something to my previous post.
If you can´t stay 7 days in Paris, at least 6, the idea is that you spend more days in Paris than in London. Love both cities, but personally, think Paris requires more time, as there´s plenty to see there :)

There is every bit as much to see and do in London as there is in Paris. In addition London has (in general terms...) a livelier performing arts scene, especially theatre and musical theatre, which have the additional benefit to N. American visitors of being in English.
The museums and historical sites in London are as rich and varied as Paris (with the possible exception of the Louvre which has no equal anywhere in the world, IMO).
Which one deserves more of your time depends largely on your oiwn personal interests. I could happily spend all eleven days in either — and have in both...
