There seems to be a plethora of CDG connection questions recently. Personally I believe connections of less than 1½ hours are cutting it short regardless of the airport through which one is traveling. However (and I am speculating here) there are probably not a great deal of travel options between Prague and Hong Kong. In a practical sense you may have few to no other options.
I am not sure of your ultimate purpose in posing this question here on the forum, but if you miss your connecting flight to Hong Kong, only the airline through which you purchased your tickets can help you. If you want assurance that you will indeed make your trip seamlessly; you may receive that here but it will be of little value when you encounter problems enroute.
If you are indeed apprehensive about a smooth connection through CDG, call your airline and explore your options. A 45 minute connection is possible to make but it gives little time to makeup for unforeseen delays.

I agree - that%26#39;s a very short connection time and if your first flight is late....
Is there no chance of staying one night in Paris? That would always be my solution - I%26#39;m sure that I%26#39;m not alone in that. You could have a great dinner and a bit of a walk-about along the Seine or wherever, and then return to CDG for your second flight refreshed instead of frazzled from worrying about the connection.
Mind you, I would never have this problem. I refuse to use CDG, it%26#39;s just too punishing.

I saw countless people stranded waiting for their connections, they were too late due to lines and security checks. I asked and many of them had given themselves 1 1/2 hours for the connection.... I think you might have a problem. Maybe check with CDG directly.

maslik,
Unfortunately I would start calling your airline and ask what the options are if you do miss your connection. Since they booked it so close, will they give you a guaranteed seat on another flight? pay for a room (doubt) if overnight?
I have heard that CDG often requires 2-3 hrs for connections.

Definitely not enough time! Do not be fooled by terminals sounding close together. They are not. And they are subject to change after you get there. CDG is horrible!! Massive construction site and disruption to airport ops. A long bus ride from the gate out to the field to your plane is the norm. Sitting on the side of runway waiting for a plane to cross before the bus can move is not unusual. 45 minutes before departure time one must be at the gate to get the bus. We flew AF from EWR to AGP changing in CDG, with Air Europa being the code-share airline betw. CDG and AGP. I can tell you I will always avoid CDG in the future. It was truly beyond frustrating due to lack of accurate information and signage. Security lines can be painfully slow and then a hand search of bags after the bags passed ok with the x-ray machines, and again another pat down at the gate! (I am a 48 yr old %26quot;soccer mom%26quot; - How threatening can I be.) As for the airport employees and airline ground agents: Ask three people the same question and you%26#39;ll get three diff. answers. I will never go near CDG again. One very kind AF agent sympathized, saying %26quot;Well, we have no system here. If you have no system, this is what you get.%26quot; I say brace yourself for insanity. Allow at least 2 hrs.

So my suspicions all these years have been true!

With 45 minutes, you will barely have time to exit your plane, negotiate the terminal, figure out which gate goes where, and go through a security checkpoint again.
Unless they guarantee to hold the plane for you, I would look for another connection.
