Nice to St. Tropez

We are taking a cruise in October and docking in Nice. We would like to go to St. Tropez for the day. Does anyone have any idea the best way to make this trip.

Hi

Getting to St Tropez without a car is not easy. You would need to take the train to St Raphael and then the 104 bus which off season leaves at 06.30 08.30 10.05 12.15 13.30 15.45 17.40 and 19.35.

As much as I love St Tropez, as a day trip desination from your cruise I would suggest visiting somewhere that does not take so long to get to.

If still determined the St Tropez web-site has access details www.ot-saint-tropez.com and has an English version.

Come back if you need more help.

Hi There,

There is a boat to St Tropez from the Nice port, go to http://www.bateauxverts.com/ for full info.

You can choose English.

Cheers!

I would support JBart on this. From the bus times the journey takes

1%26amp;1/2 hrs and thats after youve got to St. Raphael. bus fare is at least 20euros return. Choose your day trip from either Monaco,Eze

Village. or St. Raphael.

Looking at the web-site you suggest does not seem to indicate any service from Nice. Perhaps you can give everybody a better indication of when this service is available as all I can see are navettes from places that are even more difficult to get to than St Raphael. Do you perhaps have a summer timetable?

St Tropez is off the mainroads which, in a way, has made its appeal. IMO, it%26#39;s simply too far away for a convenient daytrip from Nice. The boats run in the summertime with several hours onboard in each direction. Adding to the list of more reachable day-trips, I would like to add Villefranche-sur-Mer. All this stated, still IMO, Nice is the jewel in the crown. Don%26#39;t hesitate to simply spend the day here.
