We took the bus to main bus station next to old nice--Gare Routiere, which is the main bus station and from there transfered to another bus to Eze, toward the Monaco direction. You can find the schedule at the Gare Routiere. I don%26#39;t believe trains go there directly. Your hotel will be able to tell you where the bus to the main bus station is.

You%26#39;ll love EZe...be sure to go to the top to the garden and have coffee at Chateau Eza, its the best view from top of the mountain.

What else is in Eze?? Is that where there is a perfume factory?

|||

yes, there is a perfumery where you can do a tour.

but, the better ones are in Grasse.

The garden in Eze has a spectacular 360 degree view and you can see many of the harbours and towns in cote d%26#39;azur from there. There are several nice hotels, boutiques and pricey restaurants as well. Its very charming and romantic, definitely worth the trip.

You can see the entire place within 2 hours, which is great because you can head to another area afterwards or before, like Old Nice or Monaco or Villafranche, which is what we did.

jmo4,

not sure where your hotel is exactly but buses are easy to find.

many, many run along the promenade along the sea.

The perfume factory/shop in Eze is a must do, not to be missed trip.

Hello,

Can one get a map of Eze? And other small places, for that matter?

|||

yes, you can get maps of all these places. most guidebooks will have one of nice. since eze is so tiny, you don%26#39;t really need a map. if you do find that you need one, you can pick it up at the tourist office on the base of Eze Ville.

Catch the number 81 at Gare Routiere going to Plateau de Justice, this stops at Eze, I recommend staying on to the top if it is dry and walk back down to Eze, great views and only about 15 mins walk all downhill.

Hello

According to the summer 2006 timetables, the buses to Eze Village are the 82 which leaves the bus station in Nice at: 8.30 9.45 11.30 13.15 15.00 16.35 and 17.45 Mondays to Saturdays. On Sundays and holidays the times are 8.30 10.00 11.30 13.30 15.00 17.00

To get the 82 from Eze Village back to Nice, the times (Monday to Sat) are 8.48 19.18 12.03 13.48 15.35 17.00 18.18 and on a Sunday, 9.03 10.33 12.03 14.03 15.33 and 17.33

There is also the 112 which goes to Eze Village Monday to Saturday only, from Nice Gare Routiere the times are: 7.20 9.00 10.40 12.30 14.15 16.10 and 18.15

Both the 82 and the 112 leave Nice from platform 14 but do check the departure board.

For my money, I%26#39;d take the 82 to Eze Village and if feeling fit, walk down (steep 1.5 hour walk) and catch the 100 bus back to Nice.

best wishes

Agree with last post. We took the 82 last Saturday, walked down the mountain

and then hopped on the 100 to Beaulieu (towards Nice),,We

got off there and walked to Efrussi Rothschild Villa

in St Jean Cap Ferrat, about a 430 minute walk. This

tour with headsets is an absolute gem..The highlight is

the tour of the nine gardens.. A MUST DO!!!!!

We then took the 100 again to Villefranche for an early dinner.
