Roissybus + bus or metro

Just to confirm: from what I understand, the ticket to the roissybus doesn%26#39;t allow transfer into bus or subway at Opera. Is that right?

question #2: I%26#39;ve always taken the RER from cdg to paris so I always went all the way to the RATP office near the RER train station in the airport to get whatever pass I needed or just the ticket into Paris. My parents are going to Paris and are considering taking the Roissybus and I understand they can pay directly to the driver. Yet, they would like to have the pass theyll need to go from Opera to their hotel in hand. My question is: are there RATP kiosks on the main arrivals level of CDG that they can go to buy a carte orange/mobilis/paris visite?

Thanks!

Theoretically, there are indeed some RATP kiosks somewhere in CDG, but:

1) They are not in every terminal

2) They are open on a very 9 to 5, months in R, full moon night, etc. basis.

To cut a long story short: don%26#39;t count on them! I sometimes take the Roissybus out of 2E, off a tiny, third world like, narrow pavement. Again, theoretically, there is an automatic machine that sells RATP tickets with a chip equipped Visa card. I%26#39;ve seen it work, I%26#39;ve seen it broken. I think there is a RATP kiosk next to it, with the manning restrictions described above. If the worse comes to the worse, your parents can buy their Roissybus ticket off the driver (as 90 % of travellers do, just make sure they more or less have the change, at least not only a € 50 note! ), then buy their pass at the Opéra métro station. Caution: this at the MAIN métro entrance, opposite the Opera theatre, and not the tiny, practical, but unmanned one, on rue Scribe, opposite the Roissybus terminal.

Thanks Bob! I%26#39;ll pass the info to them...
