Apartment in Rue Greneta + frenchconnections:comments please

I think I might have found the apartment for us - but would love some comments. It is in Rue Greneta - off Rue Motorgueil - good location? I have read very helpful comments on TA about Rue M, so assume this street will be very handy to it and all Rue M has to offer. It is through french Connections (UK based) - we are to pay owner via PayPal. Any comments please?

I booked a few rentals through FrenchConnections a couple of years ago - none were in Paris though (Provence/Luberon/Perigord and Antibes).

If I remember rightly FrenchConnectionsUK is a listing agency only, not a %26#39;rental agency%26#39;. In other words, it%26#39;s between you and the owner, direct. and no agency fees to pay.

I had a very happy 3 months tour of France from village to village - each place nicer than the one before. Never got ripped off and dealt with some very nice people. Some I paid by Paypal, some by Cash and Some by Bank Xfer.

As for Rue Greneta, it%26#39;s a little of the beaten path in the Montorguiel district - close to Rue St Denis (which is somewhat of the Red Light Area) . Lots of restaurants, cafes around - pedestrianized shopping and a great street market. It%26#39;s not scary, just a bit X rated in spots. I have stayed in that area (Rue Tiquetone) and enjoyed it but I know some people that it offends.

If you are getting a good deal, it%26#39;s not a bad spot. If it%26#39;s expensive, try looking for something closer to the Seine.
