Lenox Montparnasse Hotel

Hi,

I am staying in the Lenox Montparnasse Hotel on 15 rue Delambre in Paris in the start of October. I have a few questions.

Any recommendations for bars and restaurants near this hotel?

Any Irish Bars near by?

Anywhere bar that sells Gunniess nearby?

Any advice in general about this hotel and the surrounding area?

There is a bar in your hotel . . .

There are a number of Irish bars in Paris, don%26#39;t know which are (if any) close to rue Delambre... but you can surely use %26quot;Google.com%26quot; and search for some addresses. Also open this file:

www.parisvoice.com

and see if there aren%26#39;t some listings in it...

For advice about the area, please just enter %26quot;montparnasse%26quot; into the forum search and do some reading. there is a lot of information in previous threads that you can find for yourself...

It%26#39;s a nice and lively area, by the way, no worries.

There is an Irish bar 5 mins walk from the Lenox. Turn right towards Vavin metro. At the end of the road where the Dome restaurant is you need to cross the main Rd, take a right then 1st left. Drinks are pretty expensive though. Reception staff are really good if you need any recomendations. There is a bar called Blue Sky just across the road from hotel which is a bit more reasonably priced. La Mammas italian restaurant was nice too.

is that a good hotel to stay at?

What is the name of that Irish bar near the Hotel Lenox?

It isn%26#39;t hard to find Irish bars in Paris, here%26#39;s a website:

http://www.parispubs.com/

parisinfo.com/paris_restaurants/rub6050.html (Pubs)

irishabroad.com/Irishworld/…

Shannon - 23 rue Brea (6th, bordering 14th) is probably the one which the above poster has described the route...

A bar at 12 rue Delambre (your street) can be found on the %26#39;net under various names: le Blue Sky, le Casting, le Flanagan%26#39;s Pub...
