I am travelling with my husband this may to Europe. We just want to visit Paris and Rome, therefore we want to take and overnight train from Paris to Rome. It is our aniversary, so we want something nice. What are our options? Are the Hotel-trains good? Has anybody taken the Artesia de Nuit (France and Italy)? How long does it takes and how long are the stops??
THANK YOU

Hi,
Personally, I think you may be better off taking in inexpensive flight. The train takes about 14 1/2 hours and usually is not comfortable. The price is around 85 Euro per person. It would be quicker overall and cheaper to take a budget flight. Check Ryanair, Myair, Easyjet. The earlier you book, the cheaper the flights. I think it will be January before you can book on Ryanair for a May flight, but the fare will probably be on 25 Euro or less. Hope this helps.
