Best Place for a Blog

I am about to depart for a month to Paris to take French classes and am looking for a good place to write my travel blog. Does anyone have a favorite website for their blogs or reading blogs ? I am technically challenged, so I want something simple to use.

I have thought about a %26quot;diary%26quot; here on Trip Advisor, but decided that may be way too long for a month. However, I could just post once or twice a week the highlights. Any thoughts ?

blogger.com gets my vote too.

I used to have a blogspot site (blogger.com) but I much prefer wordpress, which gives me better control over the general look of the site, traffic, etc. Check out www.wordpress.com . The only catch with wordpress is that you%26#39;d have to host your pictures elsewhere (I use flickr.com) so that may not be the best idea if you are technologically challenged, as you said.

What you can do is create a site on both - it won%26#39;t cost you anything - and try it out to see which one you like best.

Travel Pod, www.travelpod.com, is what I%26#39;ll use next time. I%26#39;ve used Blogger before, but two friends of mine just did a round-the-worlder and used this. It has a cool auto-mapping tracking feature that makes it really easy to follow the trail.

i am off to Paris in a few weeks and i was wondering the same thing.

i have used Blogger and really not thrilled with it. i took the advice above and just set up an account on travelpod - so far i really like it.

i will take some time this weekend to enter the trip i took to Italy last year, this will be good practice for my Paris trip this year.
