I%26#39;m looking for an affordable %26amp; fairly quick/easy way to get from Saint Malo, France to London. Ferry, flight or train is fine - preferably under 6 hours of travel time.

For ferries, try Brittany Ferries, www.brittany-ferries.com/ St Malo to Portsmouth costs about £35 for a foot passenger, but the ferry itself takes 7-8 hours - or overnight - then there is the train from Portsmouth http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
For flights, it%26#39;s Ryanair www.ryanair.com/ from Dinard to London Stansted, then train into London. Make sure you check the luggage %26#39;rules%26#39;, as they are stricly applied and book tickets as soon as you can as prices go up rather than down :-(
Train would be via Paris and Eurostar http://www.voyages-sncf.com/ and www.eurostar.com/ - prices will depend on when you travel.

for all prectical intents and purposes, you will find it really difficult to do St Malo to London within 6 hours. Even flying to Stanstead still leaves you with an hour to London, and at the moment5 check in with Ryanair is a prolonged experience

Hi There
Condor ferries also go out of St Malo on one of the seacats, which is a quicker sailing time, although can be delayed very easily if the weather is not so good.
It may be worth looking into, but again you still have to get from Portsmouth to London - don%26#39;t think that would be %26quot;do-able%26quot; in six hours!
Good Luck
Jacqui
