Is there much to see in Giverny (Monet%26#39;s home) if we go one day during the week of October 8-14, 2006? Will we see the beautiful scenery everyone has been mentioning in this forum?
Thanks in advance....

The gardens won%26#39;t, of course, be as gorgeous as they are in spring and summer, but there will be autumn flowers--and the pond with the water lilies will still be there. Don%26#39;t forget the house! It%26#39;s not just the gardens that are to be seen...the house is wonderful on its own.

It would not be any different than when I went in March except for Fall colors.
The flowers will be the Fall type ones, the ponds, the house, and the American Art Museum, and the town will be just as exciting to visit. Depending on how much you love Monet and his art work.)
Make sure you go to the new L%26#39;Orangier Museum in Paris before you go.
The scenery getting to Giverny is interesting especially the white cliffs and the water ways.
I like to eat in the town at the dining establishment.

It%26#39;s heaven on earth. Go!
