Does anyone know exactly what the free transportation is that comes with the Paris Pass

If it%26#39;s what I%26#39;m thinking, there is no actual Paris Pass, it%26#39;s just called that for marketing purposes. What you get is the Museum Pass and a Paris Visite card for Zones 1-3 for the duration you purchase. Both can be purchased easily once you%26#39;re in Paris much cheaper. The website www.paris-pass.com sells the 5 day pass with delivery for €146,00. If you purchase the Paris Visite card for 5 days at a Metro staion, it%26#39;s €26,65, and the 6 day Museum Pass is €60,00 for a total of €86,65. In other words, the Paris Pass is going to cost you €59,00 more to get the exact same thing. If you%26#39;re in the US, that%26#39;s $75.00 per person. And believe me, both of those passes are REALLY easy to buy in Paris. It isn%26#39;t worth the extra money to get it in advance.

best is to buy a museum pass and carte orange separately once you are in paris. they are easily available and works out much cheaper.

Hi all
Emma from Paris Pass here - just thought I would clarify exactly what is included in the Paris Pass as there seems to be some confusion.
The Paris Pass does include the Museum Pass and your transport around Paris by Metro, but it also offers a lot more.
It includes a one hour river cruise along the Seine, a one day open top sightseeing bus tour around the city, entry to Tour Montparnasse, entry to %26#39;The History of Paris%26#39; exhibition, entry to the wax museum Musée Grévin, entry to Le Toit De La Grande Arche, free bicycle hire and special offers at the likes of Hard Rock Café and L%26#39;atelier Renault - plus more.
Hope this helps.

It%26#39;s so easy to purchase an RER pass and Museum pass once you%26#39;re in Paris, and then you%26#39;re in control of when to purchase these items. For example, I purchased a 4-day museum pass right away, due to my schedule. I waited to purchase the RER pass (which includes bus, metro, and train) until the 2nd day of my visit, when I began to use the metro to outlying areas, and would need the rail pass to get to CDG.
In both instances I got the most out of my money.
