My wife and I will going to Monaco next August on business/pleasure trip and are trying to plan an intenary for a trip through southern France, following our stay 3 day stay in Monaco,
We are thinking we would like to explore the coast by car (unless we that crazy/stupid adn should take the train), and perhaps take a jaunt inland to a vineyard or two.
We will probably have 6 or 7 days once we leave Monaco.
What would you recommend?

The Riviera is well served by a train service which connects Monaco to all the major towns , from Ventimiglia through to St Raphael. To explore the towns of the Riviera a car is a liability - its only use is to drive the upper reaches and back country, so you need to decide what it is you want to see. I would suggest four days for train to explore Nice, Antibes and Cannes, two days for a car to go inland, to see the perched villages. Or forget the car altogether
Cheers
