Transport from CDG to Lenox Montparnasse Hotel

I am travelling from the CDG Airport to Lenox Montparnasse Hotel. Is there any bus I can get for this?

The Air France coach goes from CDG to Gare Montparnasse. You can make yourself a %26#39;walking%26#39; route from Gare Montparnasse to rue Delambre using the %26#39;pedestrian%26#39; feature on

Thanks. Where can I get information on the Air France coach on the internet?

Print out this map. Your street is just to the right of the Edgar Quinet station:

Note the bus stops--if you%26#39;re curious as to where they go, use this, changing the number.

The Montparnasse station is very large. Raspail and La-Motte-Piquet-Grenell are handier for transfers.

Thanks for your help.

Trying to decide between the Air France aircoach and getting a shuttle to my hotel. Any advice on this? Pro%26#39;s and Con%26#39;s?

|||

Air France coach - no reservation, no waiting - just go outside the terminal, buy a ticket, get on. Won%26#39;t go to hotel so you need to have a 2nd leg of transport (even if it%26#39;s just walking).

Shuttle - must prearrange, hope they are there if your flight has problems/delays; will drop you at the hotel door, so that%26#39;s good.

If you print a good map showing

- rue du Commandante R. Mouchotte (Gare Montparnasse)

- rue Delambre

you can follow a walking path via rue du Maine, then rue de la Gaite to your hotel, about 600 meters or so. Piece of cake. (with a good map!)

Cheers travelnutty, and for all your help. Rough estimate at how long it would take to walk?

|||

10 minutes?

|||

Note: by sending you up rue de la Gaite, you might be amused/dismayed that there are some %26#39;video%26#39; stores, etc on that street... it does have a seamy history... but don%26#39;t despair, the area as a whole is great, lots of restaurants, great transportation connections, etc. You will enjoy rue Delambre - boulangeries, fromageries, tres Parisian.

We have just returned from a stay at the Lenox and we had a fantastic time. Was initially worried it would be too far out but the Metro is great for getting around through the day and there is a nice atmosphere around the hotel area on an evening. Can reccomend La Mammas italian restaurant and there are a couple of nice eating places for lunch around Rue Vavin. Enjoy
