Details about Ste. Chappelle Chamber Concert

I have found a site where I can order the tickets/make the reservation ahead of time. But, aside from what time the event starts (7), I don%26#39;t know much else.

So, I have a few questions....the concert starts at 7, so what time would you all recommend arriving at Ste. Chappelle (allowing time for security checkpoint, seating, etc.).

Also, what would be an acceptable dress code? During the day when we visit, we%26#39;ll be wearing our %26quot;touring%26quot; clothes of cute jeans and something warm (going in January). For the evening concert, would dress pants be a better choice? We are planning to go to a ballet and have a %26quot;dressed up%26quot; outfit for that.....should we do the same for this concert?

One last question...how long does the concert usually last? We were considering making dinner reservations on Ile de la Cite for 9, but think that may be crunching it a bit, especially if the concert runs longer than an hour and a half.

Thanks!!

The reservations can be made by phone and are quite easy-no credit card number or anything like that. Tickets are purchased at the door and you should be there 15 minutes beforehand. We actually got there at a couple of minutes after 7:00 and came in just as they were starting which was a little embarrassing. Dress is about whatever you want to wear. I wore a jacket and no tie and it didn%26#39;t take long for tthe jacket to come off. The concert lasted about 1:15 hours which was just right. Well worthwhile. I think you will enjoy it.

I agree with Jeem. Two friends and I went to a concert in April. We got there earlier than we needed. The Ste. Chappelle isn%26#39;t huge and it really doesn%26#39;t matter where you sit as the accoustics are fantastic everywhere. You should be fine for dinner at 9. We stayed on the Ile de la Cite and could have made a 9 dinner reservation. Just to be sure you could stop by their ticket booth earlier in the day and ask how long the concert lasts. Enjoy!
