Paris for New Years

Hi....I%26#39;m travelling to Paris for New Years with my husband and am looking for a romantic and artistic hotel in the city. So far we have it narrowed downt to Le Hotel Madison and Hotel Britannique, they are both three stars, under $300 per night, and look lovely. We both like classy but not stuffy as well as a good central location. Somewhere where we can walk around small quiet charming streets right out of our hotel. Ideas for New Years Eve would also be appreciated. Thank you.

We stayed at the Britannique Hotel for 5 nights in June, and we were very satisfied with the place. We had a superior twin facing the street, and found the room charming. Even though it was a superior room, it was quite small, but the 2 large French doors made the room very pleasant. The location of the hotel is very central so it was very convenient for touring. I know nothing about the other hotel you mentioned, so I cannot provide a comparison. Enjoy your trip.
