Last Minute Accommodation- Paris

Help!

We are going to Paris on Saturday. Flying with Ryanair, we are going to arrive in Porte Maillot about 8-8.30pm. We have tickets for Moulin Rouge that evening so we are on a pretty tight schedule.

I have been searching frantically for somewhere and missed a great deal with the Tryp hotels by nano seconds. Ideally we would like to stay in the Montmartre area but the 2nd or 9th may also be runners. I suppose that if the accommodation is close to a Metro that would allow us to plan ahead with regards transfers. We are looking for somewhere that is about €100-150 per room per night, clean and comfortable. Places are getting booked up very quickly at this late stage so any suggestions are welcome!

Check www.laterooms.com and www.france-hotel-guide.com. There are hotels that have unsold rooms so you may be able to find something in your rate range and in a central location (I recommend 4th through 6th if it%26#39;s possible).

Paris 1204:

Thanks for that reference to laterooms. I had not known about that.

I did a quick search and Hotel Regence at 145 euros may be a good choice considering where you want to stay. Or Hotel le Faubourg for 90 euros. There were actually a few options. Also check www.venere.com. They were showing several available rooms in your price range. The Palmon Opera may be one that works for you.

Good luck!

If laterooms can%26#39;t help, try www.ratestogo.com - I%26#39;ve used them in a number of cities on 3 continents and have found them to be absolutely reliable.

We had a nice room at the Mercure Ronceray in the 9th a few years ago. It was on Haussmann in the 9th. There is another cute little hotel in the area called Hotel Chopin. the rooms on the 2nd floor of the Mercure seemed to be biggest.

Hi

Thank you for your suggestions and guidance. Booked a place last night on venere.com. Called to confirm and apparently there is a problem with the credit card, even though i received a confirmation number. Problems, problems. Still, the guy on reception was nice so hopefully the check-in will be problem free!

Thanks again.
