Best place to stay with children

Hi! Which Parisian Hotal is good for children to stay at. We don%26#39;t want a kids based hotel, they%26#39;re 12 years old, we%26#39;d just like somewhere 2 adults and 2 children will all be happy.

Thanks x

I%26#39;d recommend doing a search on %26quot;kids hotels%26quot; in the forum and you%26#39;ll find a few recommendations.

Many people say rent an apartment. You%26#39;ll get more space for your money. They can be expensive or hard to come by for less than one week, though. I noticed another suggestion for the apartment style hotel chain Citadines. They have suites with a kitchen. Their Paris website is: citadines.com/serviced_apartments/apart_hote…

Depending on your budget, I%26#39;d recommend staying in the 4th, 5th or 6th arrondissements as a first choice, but anything between first and eighth would be ideal.

Hope this helps get you started.

We like to rent an apartment with our kids. We did the Eiffel Tower area before, but are doing the Marais this next time. And yes, you can rent for less than a week. Just keep looking. www.vacationinparis.com and www.apartmentinparis.com have nice offerings. And check www.vrbo.com

Now that our kids are older, I like to either rent an apart, or get two rooms in a small, local hotel. We used to stay at the Hotel Chomel in the 7th. They have spacious quads and the doubles are affordable, if you don%26#39;t want to share.

The area is quiet and safe, but near the lively St Germain area and close enough to several good restaurants that we could leave the kids in the room and go out on our own.

We loved the %26#39;hood so much that we moved into an apart up the street.
