If you are looking for a winery with a restaurant your choices are somewhat limited, since making wine is enough of an occupation without running a restaurant on the side as well.
However, there are two options available to you:
Les Sources de Caudalie, which is a hotel/spa complex in the vineyard at Château Smith Haut Lafitte. They offer clients staying at the hotel a visit of the château and a tasting upon request.

Château Cordeillan Bages no longer makes wine at the property, but is not a hotel with a Michelin-starred restuaurant. It is owned by the proprietor of the neighboring Château Lynch-Bages, and they offer guests the opportunity of visiting the property and having a tasting there as well.

I would recommend the Hauterive St James www.saintjames-bouliac.com/uk/navigation.htm for somewhere very different to stay! It has its own small vineyard, and extensive wine cellar (tastings can be arranged) and is set in a small village looking over Bordeaux. The rooms are very modern (see the website!) and the views spectacular. There is a haute cuisine restaurant at the hotel, and it also owns a brasserie and bistro in the village, so you%26#39;ll be fine for eating! I%26#39;ve just written my review, but it won%26#39;t appear for a few days - take a look at it when it appears!

Thanks for the replies, will let you know how I get on.
Hopefully will get something booked within the next few days.
