Cost of Carte Orange

Could someone give me an idea how much the Carte Orange cost for a week?

its 16 Euros excatly for zone 1 %26amp; 2. we had bought ours 2 weeks back.

YOu can also get them for a month too ! Do the monthly ones start on the first day of the month ?

The monthly Carte Orange start on the first day of the month and end on the last day.

One has to either buy a carnet of ten tickets or a few tickets depending on where the dates (start and finish) fall in the weeks to tide one over for the rest of the week.

I bought a 2 zone Carte Orange for a week at a Tabac store for 15.80Euros on my Capital One CC.

I have a question:

I was trying to use a few left over tickets from my last trip this time because they do not expire once they are purchased. The tickets worked on the Metro and the RER but not on the buses. I could not figure that out? any ideas? Thank you
