Does anyone know if this hotel will hold your luggage for a few hours? I%26#39;m planning on staying there for 1 night. The next day I%26#39;ll be spending a few hours walking around Paris and then taking a 6pm train to London.
Also, can anyone recommend which floor or room to request for the nicest street view?
Thanks for any advice!

Hi Summer D, I dont think there is a nice view from the hotel except over rue Malher which is quiet. I have not stayed there but they let me look at a couple of rooms when I called in a couple of years ago and I found that the room with the full bathroom was much better than the shower only option. The views will at best be over either a court yard or lightwell or either rue Mahler or rue de Sevigne - both nice little streets but narrow.
Dont go there for the view but for the location - so close to the Seine and the best part of the Marais (check out Place du Marche Ste Catherine - off the first street to the right up rue de Sevigne from rue de Rivoli - lovely square with nice eating places (Pitchi Poi and Auberge du Jarente - not %26quot;Le Marche%26quot;. I am sure they will hold your bags, especially if you ask before you arrive, I found the desk staff to be very helpful and friendly.

Thanks Faux!
A nice view for me is one of a typical Parisian street, especially with the Haussmann style buildings. I know that some rooms have a view of St Paul%26#39;s Church. I think I%26#39;ll try to request that when I book. I wish I could spend more time in Paris but since I only have 1 night, I chose to stay in the Marais.
I look forward to adding my review with %26quot;candid photos%26quot; on TA.
