Head to Disney Villege or Val d'Europe shopping center for...

We are looking for a place to have dinner near Disneyland Paris.

We are staying at Holiday Inn at Disneyland and rather not eat at the hotel.

A place in Disney Villege and Val d%26#39;Europe shopping center seems appealing since we can look around after dinner. We have 4 and 1 year old and prefer some place inexpensive and quick, fast food (but not McDonlad%26#39;s!) or may be sit-down-but-not-too-fancy restaurant. We%26#39;ll probably want to eat 5:30 - 7:00 PM time frame.

Any suggestions, please?

Thanks!

Well, if you want to eat %26quot;5.30 - 7 PM%26quot; time frame, no restaurant will be open. You%26#39;ll have to resort to sandwich places, fast food joints or room service. The French don%26#39;t start dinner before 8 PM.

Please review this section of the Val d%26#39;Europe website (the Commercial Centre).. there are restaurants - appear to be open until 10pm...

%26quot;...A concept for les Terrasses: the %26quot;Soirée-Restaurant%26quot;

In Val d%26#39;Europe. Les Terrasses promises visitors a level of quality of comfort and welcome that makes a difference.

In offering a ***wide choice of restaurants***, it is also necessary for the Val d%26#39;Europe shopping center to provide the other ingredients that are essential for a quality evening out: ease of access and parking, care and serenity.

Bilingual hostesses are available for visitors even evening at the Terrasses. ***During a romantic dinner for two or a gathering of friends, the Children%26#39;s Space takes care of the little ones, giving them an evening full of cartoon videos and menus adapted to their tastes.***

Les Terrasses also offers musical entertainment every evening.

Whether it%26#39;s a live jazz band, videos of sporting events or short films pictures from the past or concerts... there are so many reasons to have a great evening at %26quot;Les Terrasses%26quot;....%26quot;

How much is the RER ticket from St. Mitchel to Val d%26#39;Europe?

|||

Try using the french version of www.transilien.com - it will show the price of the ticket, I believe.

We have just returned from DLP and stayed by Val d%26#39;europe shopping centre. Indeed in the easterly end of the centre it may be the %26#39;terasses%26#39; but there is a small street of restaurants, yes it does have a MCD but there is a pasta/pizza place at which we ate with a cheap childrens menu which was fine for our 5+7yr old kids. Theres a chinese, a seafood, coffee + cake shops and also a french cafeteria with fairly standard choices on that are open during these times. At the other end near the RER station there are a few cafes/restaurants outside. You should certainly be able to find something here!!

Yes, I%26#39;d head for Val d%26#39;Europe. Their %26#39;food court%26#39; is not really like the American %26#39;food courts%26#39;, it%26#39;s far better. It has a good mix of fast food (McD%26#39;s, Patisseriess, Cafeterias and coffee shops and a few proper restaurants). I%26#39;ve stayed at the Hotel Elysee, located just at the entrance to Val D%26#39;Europe near the station and also the Pierre %26amp; Vacances which is at the entrance to Las Terraces (the food court) and have used it quite extensively as it%26#39;s extremely good value.

When I stayed at the Holiday Inn at DLP, I just asked the concierge to call the shuttle bus which drops you at the La Vallee Designer Outlet Village, which will lead you to Las Terraces. The shuttle cost 3euros per person return. Alternatively you could jump on the RER one stop.

Have a great time!

Thank you everyone!

I think we will head to Val d%26#39;Europe shopping center.

I didn%26#39;t know %26quot;dinner%26quot; does not start tll 8 PM in France. Do they not bring kids to %26quot;dinner%26quot;? My kids go to bed around 8:30, they would be so cranky if ate at 8 PM...

Also Gab28, there is an excellent supermarket in the Val d%26#39;Europe called Auchan and is the perfect place to buy any wines, champagnes or other delicious French goodies to take home with you!

Don%26#39;t worry about when Parisians eat dinner, especially if dining with your children...

My husband and I go out to dinner anywhere after 7:00, and the restaurants are not empty. The places do fill up soon after 8:00 through 10 or later. I can%26#39;t eat that late, then go to bed.

Restaurants in the Disney Village are surely prepared to serve all during the day, and I would think the same would be true for restaurants in a shopping center. Those are different environments than the little Parisian bistro that opens for lunch and dinner, with closure in between, or that has certain number of seatings each evening.
