My husband and I spent a fleeting couple of hours in Arras last month and are in the happy position of returning in a couple of weeks time. Can anyone recommend a good mid-priced resataurant there?

We had a similar fleeting visit a while ago. After inspecting all the menus around the Grand%26#39; Place and the Place des Héros - and peering through windows ;-) - we tried %26#39;La Rapière%26#39; on the Grand%26#39; Place. I don%26#39;t like to %26#39;recommend%26#39; places as tastes differ, but we%26#39;d be happy to go back. If you google %26#39;La Rapière%26#39; and Arras, it will come up first - until your query, I didn%26#39;t realise they had a cellar area downstairs - must have been a quiet night!

Was in Arras on Sunday evening - not a good time to try and find a restaurant open. I can recommend La Coupole d%26#39;Arras on, I think, Boulevard de Strasbourg; anyway it%26#39;s quite near the railway station.
We had a delicious meal for about 30E a head. They%26#39;re very into flambe-ing things on the a la carte menu!
Nice trad brasserie atmosphere: dark wood, mirrors, waiter in black and white.
