Are there any %26quot;FREE%26quot; nightlife things to do in Paris? For example, are there bars we can go to with no cover charges?

Bien Sûr ! (Of course !) Many have no cover at all, but you must watch out for the price of drinks which often are about 10euro each !!
Also, ladies can find out which nigh is %26quot;ladies night%26quot; for example at Le Queen, it is Wednesday and they are admitted free (usually 15 euro). As far as the free bars, I know there are several on Rue de la Huchette in the 5th.
I understand that it is fun to go behind the Notre Dame where there is usually a social atmospere where they gather for sunset festivities almost key west style with many street performers. I have not done this yet, but have walked by just before when a few of the performers were just starting.

There are a lot of people who buy a bottle of wine and maybe a sandwich and simply find a place to sit on one of the bridges over the Seine. The Pont Neuf and Pont des Arts seem to be the most popular ones. If the weather is good you can just sit there and watch the boats and people and sip your drink.
