long weekend in la Clusaz

I am going with two families for long weekend to La Clusaz - early feb 2007.

what is best way to book good hotel accomodation say wed to mon nights?

do hotels release rooms later in the year as everything seems to be a sat to sat or sun to sun requirement at the moment

You might need to try googling a specialist week-end ski operator because as you have found hotels want to take bookings of complete weeks. By going wed to mon you break into two weeks and that would leave a hotel with empty rooms for the rest of the weeks.

The French school holiday start on the 10th February and it is high season then until the 10th March.
