Old Inter-continental Hotel near Tuilleries Gardens

Hi,

Does anyone know what has happened to the Intercontinental Hotel that was across the street from the Tuilleries Gardens? Has it become a different chain?

When I visited in 2000, we stayed here - it was less expensive than the Intercontinental by the Opera but very nice.

I can%26#39;t seem to find it any more.

Thanks for your help!

From what I can see in the Michelin Guide, the hotel is now The Westin Paris., at 3, rue de Castiglione--opposite the Tuileries.

Catullus is right. Hotel is still as always but part of Westin unless we both are wrong. At any rate, it is part of a high end chain.

That%26#39;s correct. It%26#39;s now a Westin Hotel under the Starwood Group which owns the Sheraton chain as well.
