War Graves

We will be in Europe next year and visiting Villers- Bretonneux Communal Cemetery and Belgium and 96 New Irish Cemetery St Jean-les-Ypres

Please advise on where would be the best place to stay in both places?

Assuming you%26#39;re wanting help with hotels, useful websites to start from are: www.accorhotels.com/ which have various chains - amongst them, ibis and mercure are reasonable mid-range, novotel appears more expensive but will accommodate 2 parents and 2 children in one room and etap and formule1 are budget. There is another group https://www.envergure.fr/ and click on %26#39;English version%26#39; bottom left.

For more individual hotels: www.logis-de-france.fr/uk/index.htm is useful.

Tourist Information offices generally have their own websites with info on all the local hotels: http://www.tourisme.fr/recherche/e_index.htm gives links for each town.

There is also a good site for maps http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/
