RER and Connections from CDG

How difficult is switching trains in Paris on the RER from CDG to Disneyland Paris? I assume the train change would occur at Les Halles. What about luggage concerns when making the change to the red line train? Is it a long distance, upstairs, etc. with children, or should we find another way to Disneyland?

Hi There,

I have just booked TGV from Terminal 2 - Direct to Disney.

My BA flight arrives into Terminal 2b.

I normally take the bus (vea shuttle) but thought this time try something different and i have found out it only takes 10 min and gets you into the railway station at Disney. Then i will just hop on the shuttle bus to hotel.

If you require any further information just le me know.

We are interested in using the RER vs. TGV as we have a fairly large group. Anyone know about the RER and how difficult it would be to change trains with an average amount of luggage.

It depends on whether or not you want to stop off in Paris. If you want to go straight to Disney, the TGV is fastest. The RER is pretty hassle free and the trains are large enough to take a few smaller sized bags. There is a line change at Chatalet Les Halles which means you need to go up the escalator. You can arrange your trip so you change in Les Halles and De Gaulle-Etoile (the Champs Elysees %26amp; Arc Du Triumphe). A brief stop off on the Champs Elysees is brilliant after a long flight.
